Will You Take Your Country Back?

On April 15th 100,000 Texans gathered across the State to voice their displeasure at the the oppression of the Federal Government exercised through excessive, wasteful and punitive taxes.

Far from being simply "Tax Protests," however, the nationwide Tea Parties are a reaction to the loss of Individual Liberty through Federal Tyranny.

For nearly a century, the rights our Founders cherished and countrymen have died for, have been slowly disappearing, with the Congress now dictating even how much water you can have in your toilet.

Recently, the gentle erosion has become a violent assault on our freedom and those responsible have awakened a sleeping giant:  The ordinary, hardworking citizens of the United States.

Many of you feel unable to stop the coming train wreck, but we at the East Texas Tea Party Movement assure you:  You are not alone and you are not helpless.

Be at the Independence Day Tea Party, when we unveil a plan to make government work for you and halt the influence of lobbyists and fat-cat donors on our elected officials.

We can no longer be the "Silent Majority."  If we fail to stand up now with a loud and clear message to Washington, we will deserve whatever they foist upon us!

We will be honored to hear from several accomplished Warriors for Liberty, including Ted Cruz, who was the first Hispanic, youngest, AND longest-serving Solicitor General in Texas State History.  Graduating magna cum laude from Harvard Law, he went on to successfully defend before the Supreme Court, the 10 Commandments display in Austin, the right of the People to bear arms, and even prevented the "World Court" from reopening closed capital murder cases in our State. 

In short, Ted Cruz has stood before the Supreme Court of the United States of America time after time to defend the right of Texas to govern herself, and we are proud to have him speak on that very right.
